CoverGirl Get Ready Gorgeous

My husband and I decided to go to Ortigas since it's been awhile since we went there and we wanted to see the new stores that are newly opened in SM Megamall. 

When we were strolling around, I asked him if I can check out the Watson's area and see if there any new products I can try and do a review on. It was a bit crowded and there are like a back-to-school sale going on. Good thing we left Chlint with my mother-in-law otherwise, 

I checked out almost all the make-up counters but it was a bit difficult to look around since there were alot of people so I looked for a make-up brand counter that has less customer. I went to check out the CoverGirl counter and noticed that they have a new line and promo going on. The sales lady told me that this new line was perfect for oily-skin girls like me since its their Oil-free and shine control claims and if you know me, anything that has oil-free and shine control will immediately catch my attention and I will be wanting to try them out.

So since the sales lady really made an effort to talk me over buying everything from this new line, I decided to give in so I picked the foundation, powder and concealer and decided to give them a try to see if it's really made for oily-skin like me.

First thing I tried was the CoverGirl Get Ready Gorgeous Foundation in 210 shade since it was close to my skin-tone and it has a yellow-undertone which is perfect.

It comes in with a squeezable plastic tube which is good because it's safe to bring with you when you travel and it's really handy and less messy when getting the product out of the tube.

Consistency is not too liquidy but not thick either.

It has a very nice medium coverage and it even-out my skin really well.

It sets faster compare to other liquid foundation so blending will be a little tricky if your not to quick.

The next thing I tried was the CoverGirl Get Ready Gorgeous Concealer

I got the shade within the same range as the foundation which is 205-210 shade.

It comes in a plastic tube container and has a doe-foot applicator (aka: lipgloss applicator wand).

When I first applied it, i thought it was way way way lighter but after I blended it with my fingers it really blended well and even cover-up my dark undereye circles.

The consistency of the concealer is a bit thicker than the foundation.

This product comes with its own sponge and a small size mirror. The sponge has its own section so its hygienic and the small holes underneath allows air to circulate.
